The figures below come from each game's spec card. Where a game has several RTP versions, the base figure is shown and the operator decides which version it offers.

What makes a Pragmatic slot feel like one

• Tumbling reels. Winning symbols disappear and new ones drop in, so one spin can pay several times. Gates of Olympus, Sweet Bonanza, Sugar Rush and Starlight Princess all use it.
• Pay-anywhere wins. Instead of paylines, eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid pay in the scatter-pays games; Sugar Rush pays for clusters of five or more connected symbols.
• Multipliers. Gates of Olympus has multiplier orbs from 2x to 500x; Starlight Princess random multipliers up to 500x; Sugar Rush multiplier spots that double up to 128x; Sweet Bonanza bomb multipliers up to 100x in free spins.
• Ante bet and buy feature. Several titles let you raise the stake for more scatters, or buy entry to free spins. Both increase the cost per spin a lot.

Wolf Gold is the exception: a 25-line slot with Money Respin and fixed jackpots, closer to a traditional video slot.

Ante bet and buy feature: the real cost

Two options on many Pragmatic slots change the maths of every spin. The ante bet on Sweet Bonanza adds 25% to the stake in return for more scatters. The buy feature on Sweet Bonanza and Sugar Rush costs 100 times the bet to go straight to free spins; Gates of Olympus has one too. A R2 spin bought into free spins therefore costs R200 in one go, and the round can pay back far less. Neither option changes the fact that results are random. If you use them, count each bought round as one large bet and set your limit with that in mind.

Pragmatic Play free spins: two different things

"Free spins" can mean a feature inside a game or a bookmaker promotion. Inside the game, free spins are a bonus round triggered by scatters, such as 10 free spins for four or more lollipop scatters in Sweet Bonanza. As a promotion, some bookmakers give spins on a named Pragmatic slot: Scorebet's first-deposit offer, for example, includes spins on Gates of Olympus, and Vegas Bets ties a deposit match to Pragmatic games. The legal position in South Africa

Pragmatic Play slots are listed by provincially licensed bookmakers, mostly under Western Cape and Mpumalanga licences. Their legal status is disputed: in 2025 the Supreme Court of Appeal barred Gauteng bookmakers from taking bets on casino games, the National Gambling Board reads that as national, and the Western Cape board says its licensees are unaffected. National policy is pending, so the position depends on the province. Online casinos are not licensed in South Africa, and this page does not cover offshore sites.
