SunBet welcome bonus, promo code and promotions

The SunBet welcome bonus is set out on SunBet's own sign-up and promotions pages, and the amount changes from campaign to campaign, so check it there on the day you register: . The promotions page that could be read lists ongoing offers rather than a fixed welcome package: a 20% cashback on losing horse racing bets and an "Almost Lucky" stake refund on Lucky Numbers. Whether you need a SunBet promo code depends on the campaign running when you join.

SunBet promotions listed on the site

• 20% cashback on horse racing. The promotions page says: bet on horse racing and get a 20% cashback bonus on losing bets. Cashback is usually paid as bonus funds with its own rules, so read how it is credited and whether a rollover applies.
• Almost Lucky Promo. For Lucky Numbers, SunBet advertises a stake refund if you are one ball short. Betting on lottery outcomes is restricted by the Lotteries Act, and whether bookmaker approvals cover these bets is legally contested.

The page changes often, so new promotions may appear and older ones end.

SunBet promo code: when you need one

No standing SunBet promo code is shown for new customers on the pages read. If a campaign uses a code, SunBet shows it with the offer and the registration form has a place to enter it. Enter it before you finish signing up; adding a code afterwards is usually not possible. The promo codes guide explains how codes work at South African bookmakers.

What about the SunBet R250 bonus?

A R250 SunBet bonus is a common search. It is not described on the promotions page read for this guide, so it may be an earlier campaign or a limited offer. Do not count on it being credited unless the SunBet sign-up page shows it with terms. The same applies to a SunBet free bet or free bonus for registering: confirm it in the terms before relying on it. Bookmakers that do publish no-deposit offers are on the no deposit bonus page.

SunBet free spins

SunBet's games section lists slots from providers including Greentube and EGT, along with crash, scratch cards and live games. A free spins promotion is not part of the offers read, but they can appear in the lobby. Check eligible games, spin value and rollover. Slot-style games at bookmakers are legally disputed nationally. Free spins at other licensed bookmakers are compared on the free spins page.

How to take up a SunBet offer

1. Register and complete FICA. SunBet is a licensed bookmaker, so ID and address checks apply.
2. Deposit by instant EFT, Ozow, or debit or credit card, the methods SunBet's deposits FAQ lists.
3. Opt in to the promotion if it asks you to, and read its terms: qualifying bets, minimum odds, expiry and how payouts are credited.
4. Bet within the deadline and keep a note of qualifying bets in case you need to query a payout with support, which SunBet says is available 24/7.
