World Sports Betting app: mobile betting with WSB
How to get World Sports Betting on your phone safely, and what the mobile offer includes.
The World Sports Betting app question has a simple safe answer: get WSB on your phone only through wsb.co.za or an official app store link published there. WSB says you can bet on sports on desktop or mobile devices, and its current app and download options for Android and iPhone are set out on its own site. Whichever route you use, the account, balance and licence are the same.
World Sports Betting app download: step by step
- Type wsb.co.za into your phone's browser.
- Check the footer: World Sports Betting says it is licensed by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board (licence 10181495-013) and by the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator (licence 9-2-1-09865).
- Use the site's own app or download link if one is offered for your phone.
- If it is an Android APK, allow installs from your browser for that file only, then switch the setting off.
- Open the app, confirm the same licence notice appears, and log in with your existing details.
World Sports Betting APK: what to avoid
Searches for a World Sports Betting APK download often lead to third-party file sites. Those files are not the bookmaker's and can be altered to capture passwords or banking details. The same applies to anything sold as a "data-free" or "modded" WSB app on social media. Whether WSB offers a data-free version is a question for its own site and support team, which it lists as [email protected] and the toll-free line 0860 10 33 93.
What you can do on WSB mobile
- Sports betting on soccer, cricket, rugby and more, with live in-play betting and odds boosters.
- Horse racing with free streaming, early pricing and racing from local centres including Turffontein, Kenilworth, Greyville, Durbanville, Scottsville and the Vaal, plus international tracks.
- Lucky numbers. These are bookmaker bets on draw outcomes, and their legal basis under the Lotteries Act is contested.
- Games: slots and live games from providers WSB names, such as Pragmatic, Evolution, Red Tiger, NetEnt, Nolimit City and Habanero, and crash games including Aviator, Paper Plane, Rugby Run and Comet Crash. Slot-style games at bookmakers are legally disputed, and the position depends on the province. The WSB games page goes into detail.
