Supabets App Download: How to Get It on Your Phone

Supabets links its app from a "Download App" button on its own site, supabets.co.za, and that link is the place to start for a genuine Supabets app download. The operator sets out which phones are supported and whether a data-free version is available, so check there before trusting any other download page.

Installing the Supabets app on Android

Bookmaker apps in South Africa are often supplied as an APK file from the operator's own site. If the Supabets link gives you an APK, the install works like this:

1. Open supabets.co.za in your phone's browser by typing the address.
2. Tap Download App on the Supabets page and save the file.
3. Open the file. Android will warn that your browser cannot install unknown apps; allow it for this install only.
4. Finish the install and switch the permission back off.
5. Log in with your Supabets details or register a new account.

If the link opens a store listing instead, install from there. Either way, the source should be Supabets itself. A "Supabets APK" from a download portal or a shared WhatsApp file may be tampered with.

iPhone users

iPhones install apps only from the Apple App Store. If the Supabets site points you to a listing, check the developer name before installing. Otherwise use supabets.co.za in Safari and add it to your home screen for quick access.

Data-free Supabets app claims

Many people search for a data-free Supabets app. Data-free access depends on the operator's arrangements at the time, so the only trustworthy answer is on supabets.co.za. A site offering a "data free Supabets download" that the operator does not mention itself is not an official source.

What you can do in the app

The app opens the same account as the website. According to the operator's home page, that includes in-play sports markets on soccer, cricket and tennis, horse racing and racing specials, and Supanumbers, its lucky numbers product. Supabets also promotes slots, Aviator, table games and its Play Vegas suite.

Those games come with a legal footnote that is directly connected to this bookmaker. The 2025 Supreme Court of Appeal ruling that barred Gauteng bookmakers from offering bets on casino games came in a case involving Portapa, cited in the judgment as Supabets. Supabets' footer names the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator as its licensing body, and whether such games are permitted under a Mpumalanga licence is disputed by the national regulator.

Welcome offer and FICA on mobile

The welcome offer is tied to your account rather than to the app. Supabets describes it as a chance to double your first deposit on selected welcome offers; the full terms are on its promotions pages and our Supabets bonus page. Supabets has a "How To Fica" guide linked from its site, and your phone camera is the easiest way to photograph and upload your documents.

Responsible betting on your phone

Supabets says customers can set limits and self-exclude, and its footer lists the National Responsible Gambling Programme line 0800 006 008 and WhatsApp HELP on 076 675 0710. Only adults 18 and over may gamble. More help is on our responsible gambling page, and the full operator assessment is in the Supabets review.
