Scorebet promo code, bonus and free spins

You do not need a Scorebet promo code for the welcome offer: according to Scorebet's first deposit page, the First Deposit Match Bonus and Free Spins are issued immediately after your first successful deposit of R50 or more. The offer is First Deposit 100% Match (up to R5,000) plus Free Spins (up to 150, on Gates of Olympus), and the free spins are on Gates of Olympus. The catch is in the rollover and a short time limit, explained below.

How to claim the Scorebet welcome bonus

1. Register at Scorebet and complete your details. The terms say you may need to provide copies of your ID, proof of address and proof of bank account.
2. Make your first deposit of at least R50. Scorebet lists EFT, card payments, Ozow instant EFT, vouchers and mobile money, plus retail options such as Shoprite, Pick n Pay and Makro.
3. The match bonus and free spins are credited straight after the deposit clears. No code field is needed for this offer.
4. Start using the rewards within 72 hours, before they expire.

Scorebet free spins on Gates of Olympus

The free spins part of the offer is played on Gates of Olympus, a high-volatility Pragmatic Play slot. Winnings from those spins fall under the games rollover of 10 times. High volatility means many spins return little while a few return more, so the result of a small batch of spins varies a lot. The slot's RTP and maximum win, as Pragmatic Play publishes them, are on its spec card. Casino-style games at South African bookmakers are legally disputed, and the position depends on the province.

Is the rollover realistic?

Work it out before depositing. A sports bonus of R200, for example, would need R1,000 of bets at odds of 1.75 or higher to clear the 5x rollover, and the 72-hour window gives little room for big sporting weekends to come round. Games rewards need ten times their value bet. If you prefer to bet slowly, a smaller deposit or skipping the bonus may suit you better. Other offers are compared on the welcome bonus page.

Will a promo code ever apply?

Scorebet may run campaign codes for existing customers or partners. If one is advertised, it will be on Scorebet's own promotions pages, and you would enter it where the site shows. A search for a "live score bet welcome offer" sometimes lands here; that is a different brand name, so check you are on scorebet.co.za. For how codes work in general, see the promo codes guide.

Licence note

Scorebet's footer states it is licensed by the Northern Cape Gambling Board, while the National Gambling Board register lists Scorebet Durban (Pty) Ltd with KwaZulu-Natal bookmaker licence BOM0120. The relationship between the two company names is not explained on the site. Details are in the Scorebet review.

Bonuses are only for customers aged 18 and over. Scorebet offers deposit limits, wagering limits, time-outs and self-exclusion; use them before a bonus pushes you to bet more than planned, and see the responsible gambling page for free help.
