JetX Crash Game Review: How JetX Works

JetX by SmartSoft Gaming is a crash game where a jet climbs with a rising multiplier until it explodes. How rounds work, its features and the demo.

JetX is a crash game by SmartSoft Gaming, released in 2018: you place a bet before a round starts, a jet takes off with a multiplier that keeps rising, and you must cash out before the jet explodes. Cash out in time and your stake is multiplied by the figure on screen; wait too long and the stake is lost. There are no reels or paylines, which is why the spec card shows them as not applicable.

In South Africa JetX is found only at bookmakers that list SmartSoft games, and its legal status there is disputed: provincial regulators such as the Western Cape board permit casino-style games for their licensees, while the National Gambling Board disputes this. You must be 18 or older to play for money.

How a JetX round plays out

  1. Betting window. A countdown runs between rounds. You choose a stake and, if you like, an automatic cash-out multiplier.
  2. Take-off. The jet climbs and the multiplier rises from 1.00x.
  3. Cash out or crash. You press cash out at any moment to lock in stake times the current multiplier. When the jet explodes, every bet still running loses.

The crash point of each round is random. A round can end almost at take-off, and it can run long; nothing in previous rounds tells you which it will be.

JetX game features

  • Several bets at once. The newer version of JetX allows up to four simultaneous bets in one round, each with its own cash-out.
  • Auto-play and auto cash-out. You can repeat a bet over several rounds and set a multiplier at which it cashes out by itself.
  • MegaDrop and jackpot tools. Extra prize features run on top of the main game, as set by the provider and the bookmaker.
  • Live player data. The screen shows other players' bets and cash-outs, a round history and a moderated chat.

The social side of JetX, with other players' cash-outs on screen, can make it feel as though there is a pattern to follow. There is not: each round is independent of the last, and the history panel describes the past, not the future.

JetX strategy: what auto cash-out can and cannot do

No JetX strategy changes the odds of a round. Low auto cash-out targets win more often but pay little; high targets pay more but lose more often, and the game's edge applies either way. Doubling stakes after a loss only makes losses bigger and faster. The genuine use of auto cash-out is control: a fixed stake, a fixed target and a set number of rounds help you stick to a budget in a game that moves quickly.

JetX demo

SlotsReviews does not host a JetX demo. SmartSoft Gaming offers demo versions of its games on its own website, and some licensed bookmakers show a demo mode in their lobby. A demo runs the same game logic with play credits, which makes it a fair way to see how fast rounds go before deciding whether to stake money.

Where JetX is listed in South Africa

Gbets names SmarTSoft among the providers in its games lobby, which also has a crash games section. Lobbies change often, so search for JetX in the bookmaker's own lobby before depositing. Spribe's Aviator is the better-known game of the same type, and other titles are on the crash games page.

Crash games run round after round with only seconds between them, so set your limit before the first one. The National Responsible Gambling Programme helpline is free on 0800 006 008, and our responsible gambling page lists the tools licensed bookmakers offer.
