What Gosloto is and how the formats differ
Gosloto is a family of Russian state lotteries. Each game is named after its format: the first figure is how many numbers make up a winning line and the second is the size of the number pool. So Russia Gosloto 6/45 draws six numbers from a pool of 45, 7/49 draws seven from 49 and 5/36 draws five from 36. A smaller pool means each individual number comes up more often, which is why the 5/36 results look more repetitive than the 6/45 or 7/49 results.
Other Gosloto formats exist, such as 5/50, but this page follows the three that the results blocks cover. The draw schedule is set by the Russian lottery operator; its own site is the reference for draw times and any changes to the rules.
How to read Gosloto results on this page
- Latest draw sits at the top of each block, with earlier draws below it.
- Times are shown as published by the source. Russian draw times are ahead of South African time, so a draw listed late in the evening in Moscow happens earlier in the evening here.
- Bonus balls, where a format uses them, are listed separately from the main numbers.
If you need the numbers for a specific draw that is no longer in the block, check the Russian operator's archive rather than a screenshot shared on social media. Copies passed around WhatsApp groups are a common source of mistakes.
Gosloto and South African law
Nobody in South Africa buys an actual Gosloto ticket. What local bookmakers offer as "lucky numbers" are fixed-odds bets on which numbers will be drawn abroad. The Lotteries Act makes it an offence to run a scheme for betting on the outcome of any lottery unless another law authorises it, and in 2021 a High Court stopped LottoStar from taking bets on lottery outcomes on that basis. Whether provincial bookmaker approvals count as that authorisation for foreign draws such as Gosloto has not been settled.
This page therefore publishes results and explains the draws only. It does not recommend where to bet on Gosloto or rank anyone who does.
No pattern to chase
Every Gosloto draw is random and independent of the last one. Hot and cold number lists describe the past; they do not change the odds of the next draw, and no system improves them. If you follow lucky numbers, keep it occasional and keep the amounts small. The format. Gosloto 6/45 draws six numbers from a pool of 45, while 7/49 draws seven numbers from a pool of 49. The 5/36 game draws five numbers from 36.

Why is a results block empty?
The block hides itself when the data has not been refreshed recently, so that out-of-date numbers are never shown as current. Check back later or use the official source.
Can Gosloto numbers be predicted?
No. Each draw is random and independent, and past results do not affect future ones. Statistics on frequent numbers describe history only.
