UK49s results for both daily draws, Lunchtime and Teatime, are shown below: the latest numbers first, then the earlier draws. UK49s is a draw held in the United Kingdom that South Africans follow closely because local bookmakers offer lucky numbers markets on it. If either block is missing, that result has not been published yet or the data could not be refreshed in time.

Two draws a day, one name

UK49s is not one draw but two, named after the time of day they take place in the UK: Lunchtime and Teatime. They are separate events with separate results, so a number that comes up at Lunchtime tells you nothing about Teatime a few hours later. When someone says "the 49s", ask which draw they mean before comparing numbers.

The organiser publishes the official draw times, the number range and the format of each draw. Those details are not restated here because they belong to the organiser and can change. Draw times are set in UK time, and the UK moves its clocks in March and October, so the time a result reaches South Africa can shift by an hour during the year while SAST stays fixed.

How to check a UK49s result

  1. Note which draw your numbers are for, Lunchtime or Teatime, and the date.
  2. Find that draw in the matching block above. The top row is the most recent.
  3. Compare every number carefully, one by one, and note any extra number the result shows separately, because bookmaker markets do not all settle on the same part of the draw.
  4. If you placed a bet with a bookmaker, its settlement is governed by its own lucky numbers rules, so read the market rules in its terms.

A result shown here is a convenience copy. If a result looks wrong, or a site shows different numbers, the organiser's official publication is the one that counts.

Original results versus copies

Many readers search for the UK49s original results because dozens of sites, apps and social media pages repost the numbers, sometimes late and sometimes with typing errors. The block above is filled automatically from public results pages and disappears when the data is stale rather than showing an old draw as new.

UK49s history and past results

The two blocks keep the latest draw and up to ten earlier draws each, which covers roughly the last fortnight of results. For a longer UK49s history, such as results from 2018 or a full year of draws, the organiser's own archive is the source. Historical results are useful to check an old slip or to see how often a number has appeared. They are not useful for predicting the next draw.

Hot numbers, predictions and Facebook groups

Our UK49s predictions and hot numbers page counts how often each number has been drawn in recent weeks. That is a description of the past and nothing more. Every UK49s draw is random and independent, and no hot number list, "banker", formula or app changes the odds of the next one.

UK49s Facebook groups and WhatsApp channels often sell paid predictions or promise a "sure" win. These are not reliable, and some are scams that ask for payment or personal details. Nobody can know the numbers before the draw.

About live draws

Searches for a UK49s live draw usually lead to unofficial streams or replays. If you want to watch, use the organiser's own channel. A replay or screenshot shared on social media is not a substitute for the published result.

Lucky numbers bets and the law in South Africa

Buying a lottery ticket and betting on the outcome of a lottery are different things in law. Section 57(2)(g) of the Lotteries Act makes it an offence to offer betting on any outcome of any lottery unless another law authorises it, and in 2021 the Mbombela High Court stopped LottoStar from taking bets on lottery outcomes on that basis. Some bookmakers offer UK49s markets as fixed-odds bets under provincial licences; whether that is authorised has not been settled. This page publishes results only and does not recommend where to bet. The lucky numbers section explains the background.

Keeping it in proportion

Two draws every day, every week, is a fast rhythm, and small stakes add up. Decide on a weekly amount you can afford to lose and stop when it is spent. Gambling in South Africa is only for people aged 18 and over. If the 49s are taking more of your time or money than you want, our responsible gambling page has help, and the National Responsible Gambling Programme answers on 0800 006 008, 24 hours a day.

Questions and answers

What is the difference between UK49s Lunchtime and Teatime?

They are two separate daily draws, held at different times of day in the UK. Each has its own results, and one draw has no effect on the other.

What time are UK49s results available in South Africa?

The organiser sets the draw times in UK time. Because the UK changes its clocks twice a year and South Africa does not, the SAST time can shift by an hour. This page updates automatically after each draw.

Where can I find UK49s history results?

Each block on this page holds the latest draw and up to ten earlier draws. For older results, use the organiser's official archive.

Can anyone predict the UK49s numbers?

No. Every draw is random and independent. Hot number lists describe past draws only, and paid predictions offered on social media are not reliable.

Is betting on UK49s legal in South Africa?

It is contested. The Lotteries Act restricts betting on lottery outcomes unless another law authorises it, and whether bookmaker licences cover foreign draws has not been settled.
