FICA at Betway: why it matters

Licensed bookmakers are accountable institutions under the Financial Intelligence Centre Act. They must identify customers, check the source of funds where needed and keep records. In practice, an unverified account can usually deposit and bet but cannot withdraw. Sending clear photos or scans of both sides of a Smart ID card, with all corners visible, saves time.
