Powerball results today: PowerBall and PowerBall Plus draws

The latest Powerball results appear in the blocks below: first the main PowerBall draw, then PowerBall Plus, each with the most recent draw and up to ten previous ones. The numbers refresh automatically from public results pages after each draw, so if you are checking last night's results or yesterday's, they will be here once they are published.

If a block is missing, the latest data has not come through yet or is more than a few days old; we would rather show nothing than outdated numbers. In that case, check the official National Lottery operator's site directly.

When PowerBall is drawn

Published draw schedules give PowerBall and PowerBall Plus on Tuesday and Friday evenings at 21:00 SAST, which is why Friday Powerball results are among the most searched each week. The first live televised draws under the new operator, on 2 June 2026, were reported on e.tv and SABC. Schedules and times can change under the new operator, so treat sizekhaya.co.za as the final word.

PowerBall Plus and the name PowerBall XTRA

PowerBall Plus is a separate draw with its own results; how it is entered is set out in the official game rules. Under Sizekhaya, which took over the National Lottery on 1 June 2026, the game is being listed in some places as PowerBall XTRA. The second results block on this page covers that game under whichever name the operator uses. Price changes and new features under Sizekhaya have been reported in the press, but the details should be confirmed on the operator's site before you rely on them.

How to check your Powerball ticket

1. Find the draw date printed on your ticket and match it to the date in the results block.
2. Compare each line on your ticket with the numbers in the block, checking the main numbers and the PowerBall separately. The official game rules on the operator's site explain which combinations win a prize.
3. If you entered PowerBall Plus, check the second block too. It is a separate draw with separate results.
4. For any prize, follow the claim instructions published by the National Lottery operator. Thresholds and where to claim are set by the operator, not by results sites.

Powerball results history and statistics

The blocks above keep the last ten or so draws. For longer Powerball results history, see past Lotto results. Our number statistics page shows which numbers have come up more and less often in past draws. That is history only: every draw is random, and no hot or cold number, pattern or system improves your chances.

Who runs the National Lottery

Since 1 June 2026 the National Lottery has been operated by Sizekhaya Holdings under an eight-year licence, replacing Ithuba; the award is being challenged in court. The regulator is the National Lotteries Commission under the Lotteries Act. Official results come from the operator, and our feed is a convenience copy.
