Lotto Plus Results: Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 (Lotto 5 Max)

The latest Lotto Plus results appear below as soon as the public results are published: first Lotto Plus 1, then the second add-on game, reported since the change of operator as Lotto 5 Max (formerly Lotto Plus 2). Lotto Plus draws take place on the same evenings as the main Lotto draw, usually reported as Wednesday and Saturday at around 21:00. Each block shows the most recent draw and up to ten earlier draws, so you can check tonight's or yesterday's numbers in one place.

How Lotto and Lotto Plus fit together

Lotto Plus has traditionally been sold as an add-on to a Lotto ticket. You choose your numbers for Lotto, and if you add Lotto Plus the same numbers go into the extra draw. The add-on draws are separate from the main draw, with their own prize pools, so one ticket can win in Lotto, in Lotto Plus 1, in the second add-on, or in none of them. Ticket prices and the exact rules for adding the Plus games are set by the operator and have changed since mid-2026, so check them on the official site before buying. Lotto Plus 2 is now reported as Lotto 5 Max

Since 1 June 2026 the National Lottery has been run by Sizekhaya, which took over from the previous operator. Results services now report the second add-on game as Lotto 5 Max, formerly Lotto Plus 2. Treat the new name and any rule changes as provisional until you have checked them on sizekhaya.co.za. Earlier draws in the history above may still carry the old name.

These times come from published schedules from before and after the handover. Draws are televised, and times can shift, so the operator's site is the authority on the schedule.

Lotto Plus payouts and results history

Payouts per division depend on ticket sales and the number of winners in each draw, so they are only known after the draw. Division tables for Lotto Plus 1 and the second add-on are published by the operator; our Lotto payouts page explains how divisions work. Number statistics can be interesting, but every draw is random and independent: no pattern from earlier draws improves your odds in the next one.

Checking a ticket and claiming

Compare your ticket with the official results, not only with a third-party page. Prize claim rules, such as which prizes can be paid at a retailer and which need a bank or operator office, are set by the operator; check its current claim process before you travel or hand in a ticket. Keep your ticket safe and sign it if the operator asks you to.
